That’s a nice idea for a set. Have you considered putting some Plexiglas (preferably some with a not-too-reflective surface) between those two layers and hang the star field separately from the flat? It would create a sense of depth and add a lot of production value.

I have, yes. Plexiglass can get expesive, though, so I’m not sure if I’ll do it. I am going to check on prices when I get my paint today, though.

Have you considered distancing the “window frame” from the “stars” with dowels or corner blocks where they will not be seen? That might be a lower cost way to get some distance and depth built into your set easily.
Keep up the great work I love all your puppets and shows. Also, any word on when dotboom season 2 will be coming out? I for one, hope and anticipate it being bigger and better than season 1. And More Emperor Palpatine Please.
If you’re headed to Toronto anytime soon try Active surplus on Queen West…I have gotten Plexi there for about 25% of what it would cost at Rona or Home Depot in the past.
